The trail starts from the “Bjeshkët e Namuna” Guesthouse. Following a stream, we reach a small waterfall, now known as Lëpusha Waterfall. A path through the forest leads us to the only stall in the mountain of Dobku. From here we can see our destination. We climb up through the Dobku valley until we reach the top and enjoy one of the best views you could possibly have of the legendary “Bjeshkët e Namuna”  (Accursed Mountains). On the top of Vajusha, you feel the spirit of the North resting peacefully on the steep peaks of the surrounding mountains. As you have a view that will stay forever on your mind, on the way back, we follow the same path to return to Lëpushë. The path is easy and there is no need for technical knowledge.

Sllapi Waterfall

The trail to the waterfall begins at the bridge near the school of Selcë. The path is completely rocky, therefore previous experience with hiking is needed. The trail continues along the valley created by Cem River. On both sides of the valley stand the majestic mountain of Mreg and the mountain of Grece, where the memorandum of Grece was made. The path to the waterfall is filled with blackberries that you can taste as you move. After walking for about 1.5 hours, we can see in the distance the magnificent waterfall. When we get close, we feel the freshness it conveys and enjoy the marvelous view it offers as the water falls down the rocks. We follow the same path to return.

Kelmend’s Panorama

Vermosh – Greben’s Peak 1840m –Bordolec

About 1 km from the center of Vermosh, we start walking to climb the top of Greben. First, we go through the beech forest. After about 1.5 hours of walking, we reach a stream where we can cool off and fill up with water. After the forest ends, we reach the stalls of Greben mountain, where the inhabitants come during the summer months with the cattle. From here we can see Greben’s Peak. There is one hour left to reach the top. Greben’s Peak offers us panoramic views of Vermosh’s valley, Kelmend’s valley, village of Lëpusha and the famous “Bjeshkët e Namuna” (Accursed Mountains). During the descent we go again through the forest and after an hour, we reach Bjeshka e Purthiqit. From here on, the path continues along an old car road. The whole path is across meadows and no technical knowledge is needed to take part in this activity. The 6-hour hike ends when we reach Bordolec or Lëpushë.
